On November 30, select seniors went to MetLife Stadium accompanied by Mrs. Dembowski, Mrs. Tomko, and Mr. Farinola for Jets Business Day. Granted, standing on the field alone was glorious, but the students also had an opportunity to sit through seven presentations led by outstanding business executives. Any student that is interested in pursuing business, IT, or communications would have benefited from the field trip.

Charles Kearney said his favorite part of the trip was listening to the Jets accountant, who has an eleven person team. The accounting team members create budgets for the Jets and are extremely busy every day making sure all financial issues are in accordance with the law. Additionally, everyone heard from the Jets social media manager. It was interesting to see how engaging social media is with the brand, especially throughout the “Fan Live Experience.”

Some added bonuses include: seeing the Jets locker room, their suites, and of course, our personal tour guide Mr. Farinola. The trip overall was informative and intuitive for the students, and Mrs. Dembowski and Mrs. Tomko plan on repeating the experience next year.
