On June 1, 2023 the junior and senior classes met to participate in prom. This year, prom was an event of glam that left everyone in anticipation for next year. It was held at the Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains, a setting that allowed all invited guests to feel as though they were royalty. The night began with a cocktail hour where students were able to eat small appetizers and find the best locations to take pictures, both indoors and outdoors. 

Once students had access to the main room, dancing and dinner began. The buffet was extremely popular with students and offered a wide variety of cuisine to choose from. As the night went on, dancing consumed most of the crowd, offering everyone a way to have fun and enjoy themselves. If someone wasn’t dancing they could most likely be found at the photobooth which was popular with attendees. 

The night ended with the announcement of who was on the junior and senior prom courts. Once everyone was seated, the members of the court were revealed: Nancy Kajo was awarded Prom Queen and Luke Cheplic was awarded Prom King. Overall, everyone had a great time at this year’s prom. It lived up to every desire and proved to be a way for everyone to come together and celebrate.
