With a record of 9-2, the girls’ varsity soccer team is off to a fantastic start to their season.  The captains of this year’s team are Jessica Gilmour, Joanna Seca, and Melissa Torres.  The girls were eager to start the season successfully.  The lady Vikings are led in goals by Joanna Seca, Kaitlyn Stajek, and Savannah Smith.  Assist leaders include Joanna Seca, Savannah Smith, and Kelly Lennon.  Goalkeeper, Jessica Gilmour, has a total of 67 saves.  The girls have already shutout 7 teams with their overall stellar play, setting the stage for a very promising season.

The team is working together beautifully this season.  Captain, Jessica Gilmour said, “I’m proud of my team.  They play every single minute of every single game, with all of their hearts.  I couldn’t have asked for a better team to end my high school soccer career.”  As Jessica stated, this team is very hardworking.  Every player gives 110% at all times.  The lady Vikings are requesting that all members of the Viking community come support them throughout the season.
