Another year, another lovely winter concert! Recently, the chorus and concert band of NAHS performed for the annual holiday concert. The choral program sang “African Noel” by Victor Johnson, “Light a Candle” by Andy Beck, and “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” by Johnny Marks. The carols were very energetic and brought cheer to the entire crowd. Afterword, the all new string program followed suit with “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Silent Night”.

The concert band performed “Do You Hear What I Hear” by Jerry Nowak, “Scenes from the Nutcracker” by Michael Story, “A Christmas Flourish” by Randall D. Standridge, and “Highlights from Frozen” by Sean O’Loughlin. All of the songs were very festive and grabbed the full attention  of the audience.

Overall, the band and chorus students, as well as Mr. Kastner, worked very diligently this year to put the winter concert together. We look forward to the spring concert – great job everyone!
