Student Spotlight: Zack Pizarro

Student Spotlight: Zack Pizarro

North Arlington’s very own student-athlete, Zack Pizarro, is active inside and outside of school. Aside from being a member of the baseball team and the student council committee, he is also an honor roll student. He loves helping others in the community as well as his friends, family, and peers. When not in school, he enjoys watching television shows such as the Flash, Arrow, and The 100. Zack is also a book fanatic. He enjoys several types of genres, but science-fiction in particular is his favorite. He is also an avid music lover, taking much of an interest in Hip-Hop and its culture.

Zack creates as well as produces original beats and songs, and is better known to his listeners as “Week Nine.” He collaborates with friends to make music. The messages he sends his audience are always positive. Each day his fan base continues to grow with the help of his supporters at school and church. Zack, as he is with everything he does, is passionate about his music. When asked what inspired him to begin making his own music he said, “The Hip-Hop culture just truly intrigued me. Listening to it so often inspired me to write music of my own.” Let it be known that Zack has an evolving studio at home that he wishes to expand in the very near future. Students like Zack, who invest their time and energy into activities which they enjoy in school and at home, are ones we are delighted to have as a part of our Viking Family!
