On December 15, NAHS celebrated this winter’s sports season with another spectacular pep rally. All students joined together to support athletes and cheer the Viking teams. Each grade’s electoral board and athletic council came together before the pep rally to decorate the gymnasium. 

Unique themes were expressed by each class: The senior’s theme was winter/Christmas, the junior’s theme was Candy Land, the sophomore’s theme was Gingerbread, and the freshmen’s theme was The Grinch. 

Each athlete was individually announced by the respective coach and applauded by all in attendance! The pep rally began with loud, vibrant music playing as the Viking mascot rallied the crowd. 

The incredible routines of our cheerleaders certainly impressed all of the attendees! Since the pep rally coincided with spirit sportswear day, the crowd was a sea of blue and white. 

Looking back, this memorable day raised Viking spirits and highlighted the athletes in a very special way. Good luck to the athletes in their coming season!
