NAHS 2016 Homecoming

NAHS+2016+Homecoming

On October 6th, the 2016 homecoming dance was held in the North Arlington High School gymnasium. Immediately upon arriving, one could feel the carefree atmosphere of the room. In contrast to the usually plain, fluorescently lit gymnasium, there was a dim room only lit by cream colored Christmas lights. This gave the event an ambiance of a beautiful starlit night perfect for socializing with friends.

Homecoming is a dance beloved by the whole school since it is the only formal dance which all high school students, regardless of their grade, may attend. Overall, the night was successful, with everyone dancing until they couldn’t dance anymore and singing along to the thundering music. The night was filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. Toward the end of the event, the homecoming queen, Arielle Castellanos and homecoming king, Daniel Antunes were announced and warmly embraced by the crowd with jovial applause.
