Michael Stringham is a well-known student at North Arlington High school. He is recognized for being involved in many school activities such as being an editor of the Viking Saga, the Vice President of SADD, and active member of the Student Council, a yearbook photographer, and the volleyball manager. In Mike’s spare time, he is an active member of the chorus program belonging to the elite chorus group known as Chamber. He has also been a member of the marching band for 5 years and plays several different instruments. This year, Michael is a member of NAHS’ track team – he competes in shotput and discus.
Michael has been in boy scouts for over 7 years and in 2011 received the Eagle Scout honor. Mike had this to say about the award, “It was an honor receiving Eagle Scout.” Some other interesting things about Michael are that he has been a CPR certified lifeguard for a few years now and is the morning announcer on Thursdays. Mike is also very involved with the senior class activities. After high school, he hopes to attend either Montclair University or William Patterson University. He is certainly on the right path to a successful future by being a well-rounded student maintaining his 3.4 GPA.
