Vikings Visit NYU

On Monday, March 7th, members of the junior class visited New York University for a day-long information session and tour of the different buildings on campus. While there, students experienced the idea of college life from a city perspective. The multiple buildings are located in the heart of Greenwich Village, Manhattan, and students were given a plethora of information regarding each facility. Each of the two groups was accompanied by a guide who gave a tour of NYU to the Vikings.

While on the tour, students learned of the admission requirements for NYU. The entire staff and current NYU students were very welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. Many students truly took this school into consideration as an option for their future. Overall, the time was well spent, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the efforts of our supervisor of guidance, Mrs. Cusano and junior health teacher, Mrs. Kara Gagliano. We would also like to give a special thanks to Mr. Anthony Marc for being of assistance on the trip. NAHS had an amazing experience on this informative excursion.
