SADD & Interact Club 2015/2016

For the 2015-2016 school year, the SADD and Interact clubs have come up with many new ideas and projects for the clubs to take on. As the holiday season approaches, the clubs begin engaging in several new tasks. For example, Santa letters have to be written, the video for the holiday assembly has to be filmed and put together, and the iconic chain of life has to be constructed. This year, the clubs have new positions, policies, and events guaranteed to make the most of the 180 day school year.

This year, we have the opportunity to once again adopt a family in-need and provide toys and gifts to aid them in having a pleasant holiday. In addition, the advisors, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Fuller, have brought back the St. Rocco’s toy drive where students travel to St. Rocco’s church in Newark, NJ and set up a toy display.  Underprivileged children get to walk through and choose what they want as gifts.

The SADD and Interact clubs work towards the betterment of the community and schools as a whole, volunteering time, resources, and help when and wherever needed. The clubs are sure to provide a rewarding and strong sense of contentment and helpfulness to all involved.
