On Wednesday October 23rd, Ms. DuJack’s Visual Arts Classes along with department supervisor Ms. Rosolen and Ms. Rosen’s Environmental Science Classes took part in a cross-curricular field trip to the Wings of the World in Teaneck, NJ. Students were given a tour of the beautiful facility and an educational presentation was given by environmental experts who explained the complex process of butterfly cycles along with the meanings of colors and patterns. Students were also treated to other activities which included a movie presentation on the migration of monarch butterflies and a live butterfly release where they were able to interact with various species of butterflies and exotic birds.
