With fall approaching, that can only mean one thing: Marching Season!
North Arlington High School’s Viking Marching Band is beyond excited to be back for another year of great music, great half-time performances, and everything in between. This year, the band is performing three songs: Burning Love/C.C. Rider, Land of Make Believe, and Higher Ground. The band spends a countless number of hours each week practicing its music and marching. The Color Guard members practice their routines daily as well. Although the band this year is much smaller than last year, consisting of about 40 students, the leaders have high hopes for a very successful season.
This year’s marching band is led by Drum Majors, Beth Kowalczyk and Jamie Sharpe, and Color Guard Captains, Kaitlyn Bartlett and Alexandrea Soden. These four seniors are ecstatic to have the opportunity to lead the band this year and make this band sound and look better than ever!
Be sure to check out the NAHS Marching Band every Friday during the Football games half-time show!
