The NFL is Back

It’s that time of the year again. The electricity is in the air, the fans are screaming, and the games are getting underway. All 32 teams across the NFL kicked off their seasons earlier this month and it started in a surprising way. The New England Patriots lost their opening game to the Kansas City Chiefs in a game where Patriots quarterback Tom Brady didn’t throw a single touchdown pass. The Chiefs dismantled the Patriots and beat them on both sides of the ball. With Brady turning 40 this offseason, questions have been raised as to what he has left in the tank and should the Patriots make a change at the quarterback position.

Other teams across the league were in action as well. Eli Manning and the Giants only put up 3 points as the Dallas Cowboys defense shut them down in a 19-3 loss in Arlington, Texas. The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Washington Redskins in D.C., snapping a 5 game losing streak to the Redskins. The Bengals were shut out by the Ravens in a 20-0 loss in a disappointing effort from Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. The opening week was surely exciting and hopefully it only gets better from here.
