Winter Track

As Winter Track is about halfway through the season, the team has made a tremendous amount of progress. With the encouragement of the two captains, Matt Borrelli and Adam Brulinski, the team is able to stay focused on reaching their goals for the season. The captains never fail to encourage the team, as they prove themselves to be dedicated and determined every day. Although the captains encourage the track members to become better athletes, everyone pushes each other to be the best that they can be. As a result, several team members have been able to substantially improve their time and/or distance in a certain event. Some even got to take home a metal at the last meet!

The coaches, Mr. Zukatus and Mr. Cioffi, are also strong supporters of the team, as they offer their time and energy each and every day. On top of that, they encourage athletes to achieve their personal best while working as a team. When assistant coach Cioffi was asked about the progress this season he responded, “The team has practiced very hard and that has shown in the meets. The team has a great work ethic that is always displayed on the track. I am expecting the hard work and success to continue into the spring season.” The track team continues to work diligently, in hopes for an even more successful spring season.
