On Friday September 20th, a football game went on that many of us will never forget. The North Arlington Vikings battled the neighboring town of Waldwick in the violent, action packed game that we have all come to know and cherish: football. Putting last week’s defeat behind them, the Vikings once more prepared for battle by practicing all through the week and making sure that victory would be the outcome Friday night. However, this was no ordinary victory; this game that would result in 62-39 win over Wallington was played without two star players on the team: Adrian Foote and Mike Brazzel. Overcoming injury and a disheartening defeat, the Vikings united together to win the game and hopefully take one more step towards the playoffs.
