For all NFL fans this one is for you. It is a pleasure to give you updates for one of the most popular sports in America. As Week 4 comes to an end, it’s safe to say that it’s embarrassing to be a New York fan right now with Eli Manning and rookie Geno Smith tied with 11 turnovers. The Giants are still searching for a win while the Jets are at the point where they should be throwing their own penalty flags. New York has to seriously step up their game. Some might say it’s the Broncos year but Seattle, New England, New Orleans, and the Chiefs aren’t far behind them all at 4-0. All five teams are playing their best with Peyton’s favorite target Wes Welker (former Patriot), Seattle’s defense, the one and only Tom Brady, New Orleans offense and Alex Smith carrying Kansas City. Moving down the rankings, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, Indianapolis, and the Dolphins are all at 3-1.
These teams are off to a strong start, especially Andrew Luck and the Colts, with Luck only being in his second year. I am sure Indy fans have high expectations once again especially for a post season appearance last year with a rookie. San Francisco and Cincinnati are off to a fair start with a record of 2-2 both looking to expand their running game. Green Bay has certainly been a disappointment only with one win but Brain Billick quotes “a win this weekend could jump start Green-Bay for the rest of the season.” Joe Flaco had more turnovers than Geno Smith which ultimately cost them the game against the Bills who are now both at 2-2. The Chargers are doing pretty well Phillip Rivers is stepping up and leading the team to wins where they had a victory against the Cowboys.
Matty Ice is having a rocky start at 1-3, but I’m sure won’t have too much trouble against the Jets at home. The Cleveland Browns have two wins under their belts thus far let’s see how far they can get this season as underdogs in almost every game. Philadelphia, Carolina, St.Louis, Arizona, Minnesota, Washington, and Oakland may not have much hope right now but they still have time. As for 0-4 ones including Giants, surprisingly Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, and Jacksonville need to win.
Other news includes: Josh Freeman rumored for wanting a Trade but where will he go? An important injury update includes Jake Locker with a hip injury and will be out up to four weeks – Ryan Fitzpatrick former Bills Quarterback will fill in. Let’s see what these teams are made of as we approach Week 5!
