The 2013 fall sports season started with a bang for North Arlington students, athletes and staff. Every grade put in effort and showed support for all of our teams and players. New this year, every team put on a show for their audience by doing something unique. The soccer team had a special performance and teachers were put to the test in a volleyball challenge. One of the highlights of the rally was when senior Thai Scott won the cheering contest.
Most of the faculty and students would agree that the pep rally was a success. Mr. Manuppelli, the principal of our school, said, “The pep rally was outstanding, the best one so far.” He also said that he would like to thank the Viking Athletic Council for their support and hard work. One student in particular was very moved by the rally. Senior Danny Yero said, “I found it really inspiring that we could all come together as a school. Since this is my last year, I feel like I’m really a part of this community. I truly believe that Mr. Manuppelli and Mr. Kenny did a great job.”
