It’s officially Spring and baseball is back! On April 1st, the North Arlington Vikings took on Lincoln High School from Jersey City. Seniors, Jeff Frytek, Ryan Fego and Jimmy Cedola lead the team to Monday’s victory of 14 to 7. Jeff Frytek provided power in the 4 spot hitting a homerun and having 2 RBI’s. Ryan Fego was nervous on the mound for his first game but managed to have 11 strikeouts in 5 innings. He also contributed on offense with 2 triples and 3 RBI’s.
Jimmy Cedola provided patience at bat earning him 2 key hits. Junior Ryan McKenna went 3 for 3 at bat. He also had 3 RBI’s, a triple and an inside the park home run.
