As we part our ways with 2021, one can’t help but take a trip down memory lane and reminisce on every brands’ high notes. In particular, the Jordan Brand sang a bit louder than the rest through the exceptional quality and noteworthy collaborations it delivered. I am happy to say that this momentum will be carried by Jordan into 2022. Here are some of the most anticipated Jordan releases.

First and foremost, the Air Jordan IV “Red Thunder” was released on January 15, 2022. The highly anticipated sneaker features the same iconic color-blocking as found in the 2006 version of the “Thunder” colorway. The color-blocking propels the brand’s legacy with a classic Chicago Bulls-friendly palette.

Furthermore, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Reverse Mocha” is also set to release later this year. The sneaker unveils a heavily-white and off-white arrangement of colors. The toe box, tongues, collars and mid-foot panels feature the Air Jordan 1 Low’s titular “Dark Mocha” tone. As you wait for a Nike SNKRS release, I invite you to look at some detailed images here. 

Lastly, the Jordan brand and Union are also expected to collaborate again. In the Union LA x Air Jordan 2 “Rattan” suede and canvas come together all throughout the retro’s upper. A golden underlay is revealed through the perforated panels on the side walls. Additionally, the sneaker also features an “aged” look through the lining around the ankle area and the midsoles underfoot that are slightly-yellowed. 2022 will certainly be another year for outstanding sneaker releases!
