As 2022 begins, the conversation is turning towards the best sneakers of 2021. Although many sneakers were released in 2021, three of them became the most coveted by sneaker enthusiasts.

First and foremost, the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3 “Raised by Women” from last April has been hailed sneaker of the year by many sources online. Essentially, the sneaker highlights people’s desire for high-end collaborations, as well as meaningful stories and inclusivity. In particular, this beautiful sneaker was intended to celebrate Women’s History Month and, all along, it was designed in a way that made it inclusive for everyone. 

Moving on, there has also been a lot of talk surrounding the Travis Scott x Fragment Design Jordan 1 Low. The low-top sneaker features a white leather base with blue and royal blue overlays. In addition, the sneaker also features Travis Scott’s reverse swoosh branding on the lateral sides. It features a very simple-looking design but the people love it. 

Last but not least, I couldn’t forget about Kanye West’s Yeezy 450. Particularly, Kanye’s approach to designing sneakers is unique and extremely abstract, to say the least. Considering its futuristic features, the alien-looking design of the sneakers is something that will definitely push the entire industry forward.

Undoubtedly, all of these sneakers have been able to live up to the anticipation surrounding them and even exceed sneaker fanatics’ expectations. I can’t wait to see what 2022 has to offer for us.
