Halfway Through Senior Year Reflection

As I watched the ball drop on my television signifying a new year, I couldn’t help but think about the fact that my senior year is almost over. In a couple of months, I will be walking the path at graduation to receive my diploma. After thinking about all the events and milestones coming up soon, I instantly had a smile forming on my face. The future certainly holds many exciting opportunities that I am ready to conquer!

After being in North Arlington High School for four consecutive years, it will be bittersweet leaving in June. All the rules, expectations, friends, teachers, classrooms, and peers I interacted and dealt with on a daily basis will not be in my daily life come September. The routine I followed for four consecutive years will be nonexistent, and I will have to create a new one. I haven’t decided which college I will be attending, but this decision will be the next step in my educational journey. Since I plan on commuting to college, I will be able to stay in familiar North Arlington surroundings, meaning I can still stay in contact with the people I formed relationships with over the past 18 years. In the end, with my high school career coming to a close, I can firmly say that the memories I created over the past four years will remain with me throughout my lifetime!
