On September 28th, Mrs. Rosen and eight students went on a trip for Environmental Science. They went to Bergen Community College in Paramus to receive a grant of $1,000 dollars. They were awarded this grant due to North Arlington High School’s laudable recycling program.
This grant will allow the school to continue being environmental friendly and purchase some new items to ensure the program’s success. Mrs. Rosen, environmental science teacher, mentioned the possibility of “starting an environmental club.” If this occurs, more Vikings will have an opportunity to volunteer and support the environmental cause.
New ideas about how to conserve and help the environment were discussed and learned on this trip. This field trip inspired all of the participants to go green!
