The Wereling 2 by Stephen Cole is a personal favorite of mine. Though it may seem similar to the novel, by Feasy, it is its own breed of canine. This novel focuses on a young man who is out hiking with his family when suddenly he is mauled by a bear and left for dead. Sometime later, he awakens in a secluded house where a kind family found him and nursed him back to health. All of them seem very nice to him, all except for their daughter, who is very cold. One night, curiosity gets the better of him and he goes snooping into her room. What he finds there is unnerving, to say the least.
He finds a book on black magic and lycanthropy; there, he finds dried blood and the ID of a young man presumed to be her boyfriend. She storms in and drives him out. Some days later, our protagonist realizes that he was cursed by the family, became a werewolf and now needs to find a cure and regain his humanity. This is certainly a good read for all.
