Mr. Savage, a former student at NAHS, is now the offensive coordinator for the NAHS football team as well as an Algebra 2 and SAT preview teacher. Mr. Savage is a very upbeat and energetic teacher who loves what he’s doing. When asked about why he became an educator, he stated, “I started coaching at a young age… I was 20. I knew that if I taught I could continue coaching. Once I started teaching I knew that’s what I wanted to do with my life.” As far as his coaching experience, he stated, “I’m going on my 10^th year and every day is still exciting.”

Although some may not know, Mr. Savage plays a bit of the piano. It’s a talent some would not expect from him because he hasn’t mentioned it to many people. The North Arlington School District made an amazing choice hiring someone with the enthusiasm and passion needed to succeed as both a teacher and coach.
