Joining North Arlington high school this year is Ms. Vigilante. Ms. Vigilante graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University in New York. When asked about why she attended St. John’s University, she said that it was because of “the location” and that St. John’s also gave her a scholarship. Ms. Vigilante’s first teaching job was as a special education teacher in Ridgewood.
Ms. Vigilante decided to become an educator because she “always liked working with children and helping people.” She also stated that she’s “not a sitting at a desk” type of person. As she was asked about her expectations for this year, Ms. Vigilante said, “for everyone to pass my class, learn something and apply it to the real world.’’ Welcome to N.A. Ms. Vigilante.
