The Best Time of the Year

The Best Time of the Year

The Christmas season at North Arlington High School is the best time of year! Most clubs take advantage of this joyful season and offer tons of community service and club activities that many students take part in. Student Council has their annual candy cane sale coming up and the SADD Club went to Saint Rocco’s Church on the 15th to pack gifts for children. The Creative Writing Class and Interact Club are taking time to write letters back to children who wrote to Santa. Even the junior class is taking part in hosting a three day dress down to get all students in the Christmas spirit! The senior class is asking students to guess the right number of Hershey kisses in a jar.

Many clubs around this time often do many field trips and tons of community service to benefit the people around us. The Interact Club is also doing a snowman gift grab for less fortunate families. They update their bulletin board with new present ideas each day and work to make an incentive for students. They offer M&M’s to anyone who takes a snowman to donate. Christmas Recess begins on the 22nd, which is a half day, and concludes on January 2nd. This long break can be used to catch up on school work, spend valuable time with family and simply enjoy the holidays before they’re over. Happy Holidays!
