NAHS Takes on Good Morning America

NAHS Takes on Good Morning America

The North Arlington Football, Cheerleading, Band, and Color Guard programs appeared on Good Morning America on Monday, November 2, 2015. Our school was featured on a special segment of Good Morning America that highlighted high school football teams in the area. NAHS Athletic Director, Mr. Dave Hutchinson explained, “We were one of six New Jersey schools to be chosen for this honor.” This was a once in a lifetime field trip that almost one-third of the high school was able to attend.

The teams had time to meet some of the most prestigious news reporters in America including Robin Roberts, Ginger Zee, and Jesse Palmer. Standing in the midst of Times Square was truly a heartwarming, yet exciting experience for all students in attendance. Some seniors were wired to microphones and some could be seen on national television. Though waking up at 5am was a struggle for some students, the trip was certainly worth it! It was truly a wonderful experience for our athletes as they represented our school on national television.
