SADD and Interact club once again collected jeans for needy teens at the beginning of this month. North Arlington High School students were encouraged to bring old, yet wearable jeans of any size to their first period class. The collection went on from the beginning of February and ended on the 12th of the month. The first period class who brought in the most jeans won a free breakfast. And the winner was…
With a total of 60 pairs of jeans, Mrs. Hughes and Ms. Kelsch’s first period classes won this worthy competition. The total amount of jeans collected was 155 pairs. Erin O’Neill, a SADD and Interact member, stated, “All of the jeans were donated to Aeropostale because the company is the one in charge of running this campaign.” Club advisors, Ms. McEntee and Ms. Fuller would like to thank all who participated in this campaign.
