Recently, the French Cooking Club held its first meeting, which was quite eventful. The group learned how to make French style crepes – crepes being a French dish, not unlike thin pancakes, which can be served with fruits and crème for breakfast or with meats and cheeses for a heartier meal. The club members found it both very interesting and fun to learn and make some crepes.
Club member Ryan Raimo spoke of the experience, “It was fun; it was cool to learn about another culture. The crepes were good and had toppings like fruit and nutella.” Overall, the meeting was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. Anyone who wishes to join the club should feel free to ask culinary arts teacher Ms. Dempsey or Ms. Kelsch.
