One of the most anticipated sneakers of 2021 is finally on the verge of being released. The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 is a collaboration between the Jordan Brand and Trophy Room – a sneaker boutique headed by Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus. In particular, this upcoming sneaker, that features a Chicago Bulls colorway blocking, was previewed in the late fall of last year and has caught the attention of many shoe fanatics.

Many have assumed that the sneaker was inspired by the 1985 NBA All-Star Game as it featured some of the details seen on the All-Star jerseys worn that game. These details include the four, alternating, blue and red stars that can be seen on the opaque rubber sole. In addition, the sneaker also features Michael Jordan’s signature embedded on the heels, which is a very noteworthy and unique detail. Though the sneaker is finally set to release soon, it will be limited to only 12,000 pairs. Thus, getting ahold of these Jordans will be extremely difficult as the resale price will skyrocket. 

Another, highly anticipated sneaker that will finally be released as well is the Air Jordan 1 ‘85 in the “Neutral Grey” colorway. Limited to 23,000 pairs, this shoe finally returns for the first time after making its original debut in 1985. This Jordan 1 features a white and grey color scheme along with a smooth leather running all throughout and a soft suede in the swooshes and collar construction.

Jordan 1 will also arrive with retro packaging featuring a drawstring bag and a throwback hand tag depicting Michael Jordan flying above Chicago. These details definitely add to the uniqueness of the sneaker. Thus, as mentioned before — just like the Trophy Room Air Jordan 1 —  the sneaker is very special and limited so getting a hold of it will be very difficult.
