AP US History Field Trip

On Thursday, June 1st, Mrs. O’Brien-Romer’s Advanced Placement US History class took an exciting field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The students were chaperoned by Mrs. O’Brien-Romer and Mr. Savage. After a day of viewing the museum’s many historic paintings, sculptures, and other artifacts, the students ended the day with a trip to Shake Shack on Lexington Avenue for lunch. Danny Antunes, a junior, said of this experience, “It was one of the best trips we have taken all year!”

All of the students who attended the trip agreed that the day was an exciting adventure. Junior unfamiliar works of art.” This popular trip will hopefully become a tradition for AP US History students in the years to come! George Mina said, “We had a great time together as a class, and saw some familiar artwork.”
