NBA Finals

All the hard work has paid off for two teams: the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. At the start of Memorial Day weekend, the Cavaliers finished off the Toronto Raptors in game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. In the Western Conference Finals, the Warriors had their backs against the wall as they were down in the series 3-1. Eventually they forced a game 7 and beat the Thunder to secure their spot in the NBA Finals. Both the Cavaliers and Warriors have something to prove this year as they look to win the championship.

LeBron James looks to lead his Cavaliers to the promised land and grasp his 3rd NBA championship and the first for his hometown and a desperate fan base. In last year’s NBA Finals, the Cavs lost in game 6 to the Warriors as Stephen Curry grabbed his first ever NBA Title. This year, the Warriors look to capture their second championship in a row and prove that they truly are the best in the NBA. The Cavs want to avoid the embarrassment of losing for a second straight year to the Warriors, while the Warriors look to solidify their legacy and place in NBA history. Any basketball fan can agree that this will be a fun series to watch.
