Spanish Honor Society Coat Drive

Spanish Honor Society Coat Drive

According to Mrs. Murad, this year’s annual Spanish Honor Society Coat Drive was a “huge success”! For weeks, the honor society was collecting gently used coats for charity and the donations received were beyond expectations. The barrel was overflowing with used but very lovely coats that generous students donated; the results were even better than last year.

The Franciscan Charities of St. Anne’s Churches became the recipient of the annual coat drive when Mrs. Kaufmann introduced Mrs. Murad to the now-director of the charity, Larry Crawford. He was delighted to hear that our school wanted to help and every year since the coat drive has donated coats for those in need. This year especially Mr. Crawford and the charity were appreciative of the generous donation. In addition to this drive, the Spanish Honor Society will soon hold a toiletries drive for students and teachers alike to once again be able help those in need.
